On the Left Coast, liberals are destroying the once-Golden State by turning a blind eye to the depredations of the homeless who are turning the streets into Third World pest holes of poop, dirty needles, the stench of urine, filth, and squalor, along with the attendant buzzing of flies around the mountains of garbage and discarded trash.
Crime is mounting as shoplifting has surged since the misnamed “Californians for Safety and Justice” deceived voters about the true nature of Proposition 47, which reduced theft penalties for any shoplifting where the total that was amount stolen is below $950. It reduced it to a misdemeanor, meaning thieves are virtually assured of getting away with it.
Providing “sanctuary” for invading foreign nationals (IFN’s) in defiance of federal law hasn’t helped because most IFN’s come from countries where crime is a crime only if you get caught.
On the other Left Coast – the eastern seaboard – New York crime levels are soaring in recent weeks since the Legislature passed and Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) signed a bail reduction law which went into effect January 1, 2020.
Anti-semitic attacks have surged and one serial bank robber who was let out time and time again finally had to be taken into custody by federal officials to keep judges from setting him loose again with no bail requirements. Some reports say he robbed six banks in two weeks before finally being taken off the streets by the feds.
The so-called “Resistance” to President Trump’s 2016 electoral victory has indulged in shameless attacks on those they deem deplorables and bitter clingers. Attacks on Christians have spiked with several church shootings lately and people are being harassed and fired for the so-called crime of “mis-gendering” someone who is clearly a man or woman pretending to be the opposite sex.
In Congress, Schiff, Nadler and their no-so-merry band of managers, all Democrats, are openly attacking the integrity of our elections and trying to co-opt the Presidency because they hate Trump with the kind of hatred only Satan could understand. Squishy RINOs like Mitt Romney are aiding and abetting their attempted coup d'etat.
Churches are splitting under the weight of Leftist attacks on God, decency, marriage, and men. Pete Buttigieg, an open homosexual, wants to be endorsed by the Pope, and sad to say, given the moral confusion exhibited by Pope Francis (real name, Jorge Mario Bergoglio), it’s a distinct possibility.
The Fool Says In His Heart
In Psalm 14:1 is the famous quote:
The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”
The Left is made up almost entirely of those who claim there is no God or reject the God of the Bible and try to shoehorn in some other kind of god in His place. They misquote the Bible or take a single verse out of context to “prove” that their conception of God is the right one because it fits their prejudices.
Because they have denied God, they have become fools.
A stone is heavy and sand is weighty, but a fool’s wrath is heavier than both of them. (Proverbs 27:3)
Bereft of the love of God in their lives, all they have left is anger, fury, and raw hatred of everything good and decent. It’s the weight of their anger that is pulling America down.
Despite the election of President Trump and all the good he’s managed to do in spite of the Democrats, he’s still only one man. He can’t change the moral fiber of a nation by himself.
Hopefully, his fearless, take-no-prisoners approach to political warfare can inspire timid Christians hiding in the pews to cast off the shackles of political correctness and rise up with righteous resolve to take back our nation.
Trump can set an example for us to follow, but if Christians don’t get up and fight for what we claim to believe in, we won’t have anyone to blame but ourselves.
